Annual Conference Community Meetings For the 2008 conference in Houston, each Community may request two hours on the conference program for a: two-hour business meeting or one-hour business meeting with one-hour session or a two-hour workshop.

Please remember, each Community is guaranteed two hours. Communities may wish to submit additional sessions or workshops under the conditions of the regular program planning procedure. The proposal form allows the entry to be identified as “Sponsored by X Committee”; please choose this option to ensure acceptance. The proposal deadline for ALL sessions or workshops is February 15.

Please confirm your committee plans for a business meeting to NCSS by February 29, 2008. You are encouraged to schedule your business meeting during the traditional time slot that has been held for you.

If you are planning a session or workshop, this should be submitted by the general deadline of February 15, 2008. You may submit your proposal at http://ncss2008.ncss.org/openconf.php. Please direct any questions regarding the scheduling of your community’s business meeting, breakfast and/or session to David Bailor at dbailor@ncss.org or 301-588-1800, ext. 109.
